IngrediLens Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-10-18 · Developer: Enescan İşler

IngrediLens reads ingredient lists on product labels and compares them with filters you choose. It is built so that what you tell it about your health and diet stays on your iPhone. This policy explains what stays on your device, what leaves it, and why.

Health and diet filters: never leave your device

The allergens, skin conditions, dietary preferences and custom terms you select, your scan history and the label text the app reads are stored only in the app's storage on your device. They are not uploaded, not sent to the developer, not shared with any third party, and never used for advertising. You can export or delete them at any time from the Profile tab. Deleting the app removes them.

Camera and photos

The camera and photos you choose are processed on your device with Apple's on-device text recognition. Images are not saved by the app and are not uploaded.

Barcode lookup (optional, off by default)

If you turn on "Look up barcodes online", only the barcode digits are sent to Open Food Facts or Open Beauty Facts to fetch a product's ingredient list. Nothing about you or your filters is sent. Their own privacy policies apply to those requests.

Sign in with Apple (optional)

Sign in with Apple is used only to keep Premium access across your devices. The developer receives an anonymous Apple user identifier and does not receive your health filters or scan history.

No advertising, no tracking

IngrediLens contains no ads, no third-party analytics and no tracking SDKs. The app does not access the advertising identifier.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. The developer never receives your payment details.

Children

IngrediLens is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
